Localizada en el barrio madrile\u00f1o de Puente de Vallecas, la nueva sede de Boa Mistura ocupa la planta baja de un edificio construido en los a\u00f1os 60.
UN TRAJE A MEDIDA
Un antiguo taller de reparaci\u00f3n de coches se atraviesa longitudinalmente, obteniendo dos \u00e1mbitos diferenciados (una zona de estudio y una zona de almacenaje) que confluyen en un nuevo taller de pintura en el fondo del local. Cada una de las dos zonas presenta una secuencia espacial de m\u00e1s p\u00fablico a m\u00e1s privado, llegando al taller, aut\u00e9ntico n\u00facleo de la actividad de Boa Mistura.
UN DIAMANTE BRUTO
La instalaci\u00f3n de un suelo radiante y refrescante por aerotermia proporciona el confort necesario para trabajar en unos espacios cuyas alturas var\u00edan entre los 4 y los
6m de altura. El resto de materiales de la intervenci\u00f3n se dejan vistos en bruto, desde vestigios de vidas anteriores del local, pasando por la nueva tabiquer\u00eda, (realizada en bloques de hormig\u00f3n y cer\u00e1micos) hasta los elementos de carpinter\u00eda, tanto de madera como met\u00e1lica, que presentan sus acabados naturales.<\/p>

Located in Puente de Vallecas\u2019 neighbourhood, next to Madrid\u2019s M-30 beltway, the new Boa Mistura\u2019s headquarters occupy the ground floor of a 1960\u2019s building.<\/em>
A TAILOR-MADE SUIT<\/em>
A former car repair workshop, the volume is cut lengthwise and divided into two different environments (an office area and a warehouse) that converge in a new workshop at the back of the plot. Each of both areas present specific spatial sequences, from more public to more private, concluding in the workshop, that becomes the real core of Boa Mistura\u2019s activity.<\/em>
A ROUGH DIAMOND<\/em>
The installation of the underfloor heating and cooling system powered by aerothermal energy provides artists the necessary comfort to work in spaces from 4 up to 6m high. The rest of the construction materials are exposed. Vestiges from previous lives of the building, new partition walls (made with concrete blocks and brick) as well as all the new woodowrk and locksmith elements are displayed with their natural finishings.<\/em><\/p>
